Come along and spend the day painting with me in my home studio. This course will be over 4 Monday lessons in November. I can’t wait to share with you some of the things i have learnt along my own art adventure that have made painting so much easier.

Some of the things we will look at include :

• preparing surfaces to paint on

• solvents and mediums to use with oils

• comparing brands of oil paints and their paint qualities (pigments)

• transparent and opaque colours and how they are used

• oil painting techniques

We will be painting various subjects and you will have the opportunity to work on your own individual composition.

Materials List:

Materials supplied but feel free to bring what you have. (or if you have some favourite brushes etc)

Morning Tea, Tea and Coffee will be provided.
